I absolutely love updating headshots in Studio City for my clients!

The Client

So of course I was excited when Iris approached me to schedule a session. As a newly promoted General Manager, she wanted to make sure she had recent pictures. And Iris, like so many others, was overdue for updated images. We chatted and decided to get a variety of pictures that were professional, but add in a few that were more “fun.” This way, she would have a selection to use for LinkedIn articles, professional organizations, and her general online presence – but since her company is all about “being human,” we wanted to get a few that had a relaxed-but-professional feel to them. Regardless if she needed images for an outside organization, or internal communications, we wanted to make sure she was covered!

The Location

We chose a unique location within her company with natural lighting. It was a cloudy, chilly day outside. But we took advantage of the indoor spot, and set up next to a window to take advantage of the natural light.

Planning the outfits

I told Iris to bring her favorite pieces, and the more the merrier. I’d much rather a client bring too many options vs. not enough! She planned a few options in classic grey and black, and then grabbed some fun pops of color. We coordinated the various chairs to compliment her clothes, grabbed a coffee and a drink, and had fun!
